Nightlife on the Gold Coast

 

Surfers Paradise is one of Australia’s best party towns. 7 nights a week, it goes off. If you are after a party then you are in the right town. Cavill Ave and the adjacent Orchid Ave are the 2 main areas for party at Surfers. Get to these 2 streets and you will not have to look far for a great bar. All major clubs close at 5am but there is a 3am lock out rule which means if you are not in the club by 3am, then you are not allowed in by law. So remember to pick your club by 3am. If at 5am you wish to party a little more the Casino in open 24/7 to make that hung over last just that little longer.

 

Shooter Saloon Bar – On Orchid Ave – A favorite with the backpackers – Often have info nights for backpackers about the Gold Coast with free buffet dinners. Most of the hostel pub crawl’s finish here and they really look after the backpackers with cheap drinks, fun games where many prizes can be won. A good place to start the night, as it quite often fires up, a little earlier than the other clubs.

 

The Drink Night Club - On Orchid Ave – One of the biggest on the coast with 3 levels of entertain – Usually goes off 7 nights a week.

 

Melbas on the Park – On Cavill Ave – Very well run club that has been around for years – If locals go out in Surfers this is the club they will head to – Great music – Very Safe – Fantastic atmosphere – A place you can really on 7 nights a week. 

 

Broadbeach is another area with a excellent night life. You will find the locals try to stay out of the touristy areas and this is where they can be found.

 

Quest Nightclub – Top of the Broadbeach Mall – One of the biggest nightclubs on the coast – Easily the most popular nightclub with the locals on the Gold Coast Area.

 

Platinum Nightclub – Middle of the Broadbeach Mall -  Another very popular nightclub.

 

Brannigans Tavern – Situated in front of Platinum Nightclub – Great bar with live music and pool tables.
