Cheers Backpackers – 8 pine Av Surfers Paradise – 10 minute walk from bus stop. Near the theme park with the sling shot. Great little hostel with pool, has its own bar with cheap beer on tap with happy hours. Not to far away from everything. Plenty of car parking spaces.

Sun & Surf BeachsideBackpackers - 3323 Surfers Paradise Blvd – The backpackers that is situated closest to the beach and also all the action. 100 Beds. Very clean with a excellent common room to meet other travelers.

Backpackers in Paradise – 40 peninsula Dr – 150m from bus station – located well and walking distance from everything – 140 – 150 beds. Only hostel to do a pub crawl every night.  With you arrive at Surfers Paradise bus station go to the backpackers info deck to arrange a pick up even though it is only a short walk.

Sleeping Inn - 26 Peninsular Drive – 120 Beds - Looked very good but does not use any websites to book accommodation. Picks you up in a limo from bus station. Would love to get on board with these guys. Have a 5 star backpackers rating. $5 all you can eat pizza every night.

Surfers Paradise Backpackers Resort  - 2837 Gold Coast Highway – 120 beds - situated 100m to the beach but in the middle of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach – out of all the hustle and bustle of Surfers – this is the hostel if you love relaxing and lying on the beach. Courtesy picks you up for the bus transit centre and also runs in there 9 times a day. The local bus runs 24hrs a day. Every 5-9 mins between 7am – 8.30pm and every 20 – 30 mins outside that time. Local bus cost $3. It is really nice 20minute stroll along the beach to surfers if you’re in the walking mood.
British Arms Hostel - 70 Seaworld Dr – is situated on the Gold Coast busiest Marina at Main Beach – about 20mins from Surfers – situated with Ocean Views – British Arms is the hostel for you, if you love relaxing and lying on the beach. The beach is a lot quieter and not as many people as the beach at Surfers Paradise. The courtesy bus picks you up for the bus transit centre and local buses run into Surfers every 5 minutes. Champions Bar & Grill is the hostels very own bar which has nightly entertainment with Backpacker Specials. Highly recommended hostel for backpackers want a quiet beach and situated just outside the Surfers area but at the same time so easy to make your way into town.

Hostel also has basketball and volleypool courts and a swimming pool. Kitchen and laundry facilities. Free pick ups from Surfers Paradise bus station. Just ask at the backpackers information desk. Have not been there. Must check out where it is. Always on hostel world.

Islander Backpackers – Corner Beach Road and Surfers Paradise Blvd – Location – Location – Location. Situated right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Right next door to the bus terminal and a minutes walk from one of Australia’s best beaches. Resort style backpackers with free tennis and squash courts. Has a TV in every room. Also has a kitchen and communal area but be warned this hostel is certainly far from the cleanest hostel Australia. If you are out and about most of the time, lying on the beach all day and partying all night this hostel is for you but if you’re a cleaning freak you may wish to look elsewhere.
