Buses on the Gold CoastSydney to Gold Coast An express buses from Sydney takes about 14hours. Costs $112 with Greyhound. Brisbane to Gold Coast
There are many companies that run this service. Just ask at your hostel for the service that suits you. Coachtrans run a door to door service for $26 one way. Greyhound also run this leg for $24.
Byron Bay to Gold Coast/Surfers Paradise
Many bus companies run the Byron Bay – Surfers leg. You will find many brochures at your hostel. Pick the service that suits you.
J&B coaches run a Surfers Paradise express which only takes 1hr 10 minutes.
Departs Byron 10.30am , 12.30pm , 2.30pm , 4.30pm
Departs Surfers 8am, 10am, noon , 2pm

Greyhound also run this leg 5 – 6 times a day. Takes about 2hrs 15mins travel time.
Costs between $20-$30 booked on line.
Many other companies operate this leg which are around $20 but stop many times before Byron Bay making the trip slightly longer.
