Gilligan's resort is located in the Cairns city centre. This place would be as good a hostel as any where in the world. Resort type facilities. It is new, clean and a very impressive establishment. Over 600 beds. No rooms with over 6 people. Lockers in each room. An excellent pool with a timber beer garden deck and good kitchen facilities.  Gilligan’s also has Cairns biggest Nightclub. You may pay a couple of dollars extra to stay at this hostel but take our word for it, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent hostel position within walking distance to everything. All rooms have a ensuite and the hostel is kept very clean. They have a good communal TV Room and good kitchen facilities. The best part about this hostel is that their double rooms are very well priced but book in advance.

 

 

This is the choice of hostel for those on a budget. Very well priced and position right in the middle of everything with a excellent pub next door. This hostel is very clean, has a kitchen facility but is missing a pool but with the lagoon just down the road, this is a good choice hostel for those on a budget.
