Whale Watching Byron Bay

Bryon Bay is famous as one of the most popular whale watching locations in all of Australia. Humpback whales begin their annual migration in May/June when they head north to warmer waters to breed. They return south around September/October when they often come into the Bay and breach and play with their calves. A truly amazing sight. There are many companies around Byron that offer whale watching tours and take you out on a boat so you are up close and personal. Cost of a tour is around $70 and take about 2hrs 30mins.
