Favourite Restaurants of the Locals Byron Bay

The Beach Hotel

The pride of Byron Bay. This is the place that started the change in Byron Bay. Bought by Paul Hogan of Crocodile Dundee fame more than 20 years ago, he transformed the place into more modern premises. The Pub is a real Byron Icon and even from an Australian Icon point of view. It has a great view of the main beach and is a lovely spot to sit and pass the day whilst having a beer. Located right at the end of the main street-Johnson St, opposite the Main Beach, it is a must see when visiting Byron Bay. Has excellent pub meal at a affordable price. Always a very busy pub.

Earth And Sea Pizza

Very popular with the locals.  Lovers of Pizza and all Italian food, can not go past this place. The food is exceptional, the service great, and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere.
