One of the newest in town. - Very clean – Swipe card security – Kitchen and laundry facilities – excellent job club- Pub down stairs with excellent meals – Fast internet – Very good hostel.
Palace Backpackers and Palace Embassy – 308 Edward St - Palace Backpackers is an icon in Australian backpacking. It’s famous for atmosphere, comfortable beds and great nights in the Down Under Bar. Kitchen facilities – Located right over the road from central station – Security lockers – excellent job club – Situated in the heart of the Brisbane City. Been a great hostel for many years.
Cloud 9 Backpackers – 350 upper Roma St – Walk out of Roma St transit centre and turn right and it is a 4-5 minute walk – Very new hostel – Great staff – A bar with happy hour prices and kitchen facilities – Awesome views and the Brisbane river and city – Security lockers and electronic swipe card access for every Guest Room. Close enough to walk to the city centre with many good bars and restaurant close by plus Roma St transit centre virtually over the road.
Bunk Backpackers – 11-21 Gibbs Street Fortitude Valley – situated in the new hip part of Brisbane , Fortitude Valley. In the 80’s and 90’s this area was a no go zone but the transformation has been amazing and it now has the best nightlife and restaurants in Brisbane. This is Brisbane’s trendiest area and the Bunk is situated right in the heart with all the facilities a backpackers would require. Over 200 beds, swimming pool, spa, kitchen facilities and a bar. This hostel is the pick of hostels in Fortitude Valley area. Brisbane City Backpackers - 380 Upper Roma St - Walk out of the transit Centre and turn right, situated 400m on the on the left - Excellent hostel - Pool - Free high speed internet - Pub with Karaoke to Quiz nights - Free job Club. |
